Official Opening of the Parent Skills Training Programme

 The Office of the Prime Minister in collaboration with the Office of the President hosted the first Parent Skills Training Programme for Children with Disabilities in Trinidad and      Tobago and the region from Monday 21st to Friday 25th August, 2017.

 The Programme provided specialist training to parents and caregivers of children living with disabilities. For this Programme, sixteen (16) master trainers were trained by    representatives from Autism Speaks and the World Health Organization. These master trainers will in turn train facilitators who will deliver the Programme to caregivers of children  with developmental disabilities.
